We are dealing here with a splendid make-over at the body, this Alpine White BMW 1M receiving a carbon fiber aero kit, consisting of a new front splitter, rear diffuser, trunk spoiler, as well as a new hood with the functional vents.

The entire body style is now complemented by the new 19-inch BBS FI alloy wheels, all wrapped in Michelin rubbers. The cabin of this 1M features the track BMW Performance Seats.

In the engine department, the BMW 1M is also looking fresh with the new goodies, the aftermarket specialists from EAS adding the Gruppe M Intake, BMW Oil Catch Can, Evolution Racewerks Chargepipe, Forge Intercooler, PTF Custom Map as well as the Akrapovic Full Eshaust System with Catless Downpipes.

The BMW 1M uses an upgraded 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo, with 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h.

The BMW 1M is that iconic model that has been released on the market in just 6309 models, it is so rare that it now costs more than the original price tag set in 2011. Unfortunately, for this one, EAS has not revealed the price.

And the 1979 BMW M1 Procar is that example of a supercar iteration that dominated the market more than three decades ago.

The car`s extremely aggressive and out-of-the-time body styling and impressive performance was the carmaker`s futuristic envision that led to today`s philosophy.

This gorgeous model has been recently restored and presented by the aftermarket technicians from Canepa, making it one of the coolest and rarest examples from the entire 40 model lot.

According to the tuner, the model is fully restored with original Procar parts, starting with the Procar aero kit – consisting of rear wing, 17-inch BBS rims, mirrors, custom front and rear bumpers – and moving on to the plethora of mechanical bits, including the suspension uprights, control arms, tie rods, hubs, axles, Penske coil-overs or the Brembo calipers taken from the Porsche 962.

Inside, the cabin features the tuner`s special upholstery, with black leather and grey stitching, electric mirror switch, manual window caps, door air vents, door and seat inserts, headliner in perforated leather and so on.

In the engine department, the 1979 BMW M1 was also restored by VAC Motorsports and is now capable of churning out an impressive 414 horsepower, via a ZF 5-speed manual transaxle transmission, rebuilt by Vintage Racing Motors.

Whay I want to propose is seat back for 2 minutes and imagine how would perform a BMW 1-Series Sedan, if it would become reality. It would probably be pushed by the powerful 3-liter, inline-6 powertrain from the M2, good enough for 370 hp @ 6500 rpm, and 500 Nm @ 1450 – 4750 rpm. It would, probably, accelerate a few tenths slower than the 4.3 seconds coupe, and the chassis rigidity would suffer a bit, but nothing to worry about. This could be a hit on the Chinese market, since those guys are crazy about the one-of-a-kind cars, made especially for them.

Have we dreamt enough? I hope so, because, unfortunately, this scenario is totally not plausible. And I’ll explain why that’s not going to happen: as BMW specialists announced us, the 1-Series Sedan is based on the UKL1 platform, shared with the 2-Series Active Tourer and Gran Tourer and the latest generation of X1 SUV. This mean, amongst some positive characteristics, that it also shares its front wheel drive or, optionally, the all wheel drive layout. And when have we seen an M variant to move anything else than the rear wheels? Never. So, let’s stick to admiring the rendering and wake up!

The BMW 1M is that iconic model from the German based carmaker that will still be valued in the next decades, the sports car coming with a unique body styling and sheer performance under the hood. It has made quite a stir even from the beginning, managing to impress with its sexy look and stance.

This one seen here wrapped in BMW`s Alpine White body color is no exception, the model looking menacing and quite aggressive with the high-performance Vossen VFS-1 wheels.

The power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission with a slip-limited differential, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, a worthy performance that can be compared with today`s BMW M3 and M4. The topping stands at 250 km/h.

This BMW 1M seen here is also looking refreshed, thanks to some slight mods carried out at the body and the new set of wheels from ADV.1 Wheels tuner.

The BMW 1M is wearing the gorgeous Alpine White body wrap, along with revised bumpers at the front and rear. The new look is complemented by the new super light wheels, courtesy to ADV.1 Wheels tuner.

We are dealing here with the ADV5 MV2. Wheels, sized 20×9 at the front and 20×10 at the rear end, which make it more standout and more aggressive.

The entire installation was carried out by aftermarket specialists from Indonesian based Antelope Ban tuning company.

Under the hood, there were no power upgrades announced, the 1M packing a retuned 3.0-liter N54 twin-turbocharged engine, with 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque. The model can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, via a six-speed manual transmission. The top speed is electronically limited at 250 km/h.

The latest of awesome vehicles is a one of a kind BMW M1 AHG, a special edition of the already famous supercar from the German car maker.

There is still some confusion for some when they hear about the M1, and think we talk about an M variant of the 1 Series. In fact, the BMW M1 is the single supercar that BMW has manufactured to date. And while things might change in the future, the M1 will still remain an icon for the car maker.

As for the AHG special edition, only 10 units were ever built, and each one was special in its own way. So what EAS got at their shop is a mint condition, unique vehicle that develops 350 Hp, up from 273 HP thanks to a specially tuned 3.5 liter in-line 6 cylinder engine. What EAS has planned for it, we don’t know, but we thank them for sharing with us a nice gallery of the unique BMW M1.

If you were at one point such a person, you might have had the curiosity to find out why.

The reason behind the naming is the simple fact that some decades ago, BMW built a car branded M1. With that car, the German manufacturer managed to demonstrate their engineering capabilities. To this day, the M1 remains the single super car ever to be produced by BMW and still a very sought after model.

This particular BMW M1 was built in 1980, and even from the styling you can guess which other car maker contributed to the process (Lamborghini). It sports the Procar colors and body panels and currently resides under the ownership of GlobalAutoSports. The good news is that for a measly $250.000, this 1980 BMW M1 can be yours. So cough up a quarter mil, go to San Diego and grab it while it’s still on the market.

The manufacturing company is Milltek, and the product promises to do a good job in both power increase and sound improvement.

Milltek’s Sport Performance exhaust system for the BMW M135i is made of stainless steel. In order to speed up the air flow on its way out, the diameter of the system was reduced from 80 mm to 76 mm. The exhaust system will be available for just 565 EUR.

When it is launched, Milltek will only make available a cat-back version, with options coming later like a turbo back system, large bore downpipes and a high flow catalytic converter configuration. The final segment of the exhaust is dual, and you get the option of fitting polished or black GT-90 trims.

The tuners decided to display their creation in a nice little clip. But before we see the Ac Shnitzer M135i go nuts, let’s mention a few improvements.

The biggest modification is done to the engine, for a power increase. The tinkering brought the 6 cylinder engine to 360 Hp, up from 320. Normally, with a power increase, you’d expect your ride to produce more CO2, but thanks to AC Schnitzer’s Efficient Performance, the emissions actually dropped a bit.

Modifications brought to the power output translate in an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.7 seconds (down from 4.9) and the time from 80 km/h to 180 km/h dropped from 12.9 to 10.8 seconds.

The exterior hasn’t seen much improvement, with the exhaust system and rear “wing” being the most obvious one, while also adding a new spoiler.
