The S58 3.0 liter twin-turbo inline-six continues to be used in the MH3 GTR. The output is increased to 641 horsepower (478 kilowatts) and 590 pound-feet of torque using Manhart’s MHtronik auxiliary control unit. This is a significant improvement over the factory-specified 503 horsepower (375 kW) and 479 lb-ft of torque (650 Nm).

Additionally, Manhart provides many exhaust enhancements. The typical configuration consists of four 3.9-inch (100-millimeter) diameter tips, four stainless steel pipes with valves to control sound, and stainless steel pipes. The outlets can alternatively be had with a ceramic or carbon coating.

The tuner offers a racing setup sans cats, sports downpipes with 300-cell catalytic converters, and an Otto particulate filter deletion with 200-cell catalytic converters. However, Manhart sells the components for export despite the fact that they lack TÜV approval for usage on German roads. .

The MH3 GTR should be able to handle the road slightly better than the already outstanding M3 Competition. The purchaser has a choice between a lowering kit with H&R springs and the Manhart Variant 4 Coilover configuration using KW components.

Manhart doesn’t change the brakes. However, the tuner is happy to make those modifications if the buyer of the MH3 GTR requests them.

The firm adds a few minor aesthetic changes to the M3 Competition. The hood, back deck, and trunk lid of the MH3 GTR are all lighter gray with a dark gray body. The body receives carbon components for the diffuser, side skirts, rear lip spoiler, and aero flicks at the front corners.

The car is supported by six-spoke wheels that are 9×20 inches in the front and 10.5×20 inches in the back. In these pictures, they have a satin black finish, but Manhart can produce them in any color the customer wishes.

Recaro Podium front seats with a complete carbon-fiber shell are the only interior upgrade. Under the headrest, there is an embossed Manhart logo.

Manhart’s announcement is mum on the cost of the MH3 GTR. For comparison, a 2023 M3 Competition costs $77,695 with rear-wheel drive and $81,795 with all-wheel drive (after the $995 destination fee).

The wheels involved used to be the hottest back in the 90`s and were seen on rides like the E46 BMW M3, Porsche 996 Turbo or C5 Corvette. Now, in the 2018 iteration, the wheels are set to commemorate 40 years of the tuner`s successful existence on the market. And what better way to do that then have them wrapped on the gorgeous BMW M3.

The new edition are sized 20 x 8.5 and 20 x 10.5 front and rear, respectively, and are finished in the mind-blowing Satin Black, which perfectly complements the car`s exterior paintjob.

Even with such a reputation, people still decided to improve the BMW M5 E39. In the case of one particular owner, upgrading the E39 proved to be a bad idea. Using parts from radically different BMW models, like the M4 and M3, the owner of this particular M5 E39 ruined the balance that defined this particular vehicle. This BMW now looks like a mix between three different cars. In fact, the identity of this BMW M5 has been hidden behind all those M4 and M3 parts. This car could easily be identified as Frankenstein’s car. While the car is not completely ugly, the BMW model mix is definitely something that most would consider weird.

The white color of the vehicle partly saves the look of the car. The integrated parts are less visible in white. Still, if you take a closer look, you can immediately notice the horrendous mix of parts from different BMW vehicles. The parts were adapted to fit perfectly with this BMW M5 E39. It is the different styles of these parts that turn this car into an unconvincing build. The front of this particular BMW M5 E39 is wide, while the back is quite narrow.

This particular project build shows that mixing BMW vehicles is not really a great idea. Such a project could be interesting to see. The end result will always be strange on account of all the different styles integrated within one car. You could say this is something more of an experiment. The aim of such projects can only be to see why you shouldn’t combine parts from different car models in one single build. There is no doubt about the fact that this particular BMW M5 E39 is ruined by the added modifications. While a lot of work might have been put into this particular build, the result is simply unconvincing.

However, a special edition was revealed at the SEMA Show last year. It involves the M3 30 Years American Edition, which is now up for grabs at Century West BMW, in Hollywood, US. The price is set at $130,000, which is almost double the one of a standard M3.

You may say it is way too expensive for an M3, even if it comes with a couple of enhancements here and there. However, a real M3 lover will definitely appreciate what it wears, particularly inside the cabin which is probably the main highlight.

Visually, the BMW M3 30 Years American Edition stands out from the crowd with M Performance parts and some carbon fiber elements.

The eye-catching model features Frozen Red II Metallic body wrap along with 19-inch and 20-inch front and rear, respectively; the wheels are wrapped with M Performance alloy wheels with golden hue finish. The grip and stability are also given by high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires.

There is also the M Performance exhaust with titanium silencers, adjustable suspension system and carbon fiber rear wing, which enhances its aerodynamics and downforce.

Inside, the cabin welcomes you with a cozy and luxury feel, thanks to the red, white and blue leather upholstery, which cover the seats, door panels and parts of the dashboard.

As the car comes fitted with the Competition Package, it means that the power under the hood is also enhanced. The model is coming with the same 3.0-liter M TwinPower Turbo inline six-cylinder engine, but with increased power compared to the stock M3. This time, we are looking here at 450 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, allowing an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4.0 seconds.

However, Supreme Power tuning firm from Germany took the challenge of reskinning the below E92 BMW M3 with a couple of carbon fiber pieces at the exterior and a new set of wheels from Vorsteiner.

Supreme Power tuner has had a fruitful partnership with Vorsteiner, one of the leading aftermarket shops in the wheel segment, and the result is always surprising. It can also be seen in the media gallery below.

Besides the new wheels, the E92 BMW M3 by Supreme Power is wearing the gorgeous body wrap called Space Gray which details the car`s every single design line.

The E92 BMW M3 in question is wrapped with the impressive alloy wheels which add a more aggressive look and increase its overall stance. They are also in perfect contrast with the new body paintjob.

The Vorsteiner wheels refer to Vorsteiner V-FF 108 FlowForged alloy wheels, and measure 18 x 9.5 and 18 x 10.5 front and rear, respectively. In case you remember from previous posts, these are the same high-performance wheels also equipping the present generation BMW M3/M4 in aftermarket disguises.

On top of that, the technicians from Supreme Power have also added a couple of carbon fiber enhancements on the car`s body style. We are dealing here with carbon fiber front splitters, LED lights and rear deck-lid spoiler. The result is spectacular.

No changes were announced in the engine department. The E92 BMW M3 packs the same 4.0-liter V8 pot, with no less than 414 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. With an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h, this lad here is capable of sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, making it a tad slower than the current M3.

The latest one to appear online belongs to another well-known tuner in Germany, Baan Velgen, specialized in wheel manufacturing and providing plenty of high-performance solutions for different German car manufacturers.

This unique F80 BMW M3 stands out before us with a unique paintjob, exquisite BBS wheels and an Akrapovic exhaust system which normally announces a power input.

Just like any other exclusive project on the marvelous F80 M3, this particular one has received the Dove Gray body wrap which details the car`s aggressive design language. This also means that we are not dealing with heavy customizations around the body, which is a good thing.

Chip in the complete Akrapovic Titanium exhaust system with single-central muffler with valves and big link pipe tubes, with middle muffler, and we might be looking at a more potent M3. The Akrapovic carbon fiber rear diffuser also comes with quad carbon exhaust tips, all increasing the engine soundtrack of this gorgeous F80 M3. Unfortunately, we don’t have the new performance figures released yet.
