Recently, we have seen BMW increase the size of its front grilles, but that does not seem to be the case for the 128ti. It is based on the M series vehicles so there are a lot of sporty elements in the design such as the air intakes, the lines on the sides, and the curves on the back.

Interior Cabin

The sporting DNA transfers itself from the outside to the inside as well. It is pretty evident from the dual-colored stitching, the use of leather, and the contrasting colored seats.

The BMW 1M Coupe seen below is one of the 6,309 examples created just before the arrival of the M2 Coupe on the market, and features some aftermarket parts that increase its performance under the hood. It was also seen in Monaco a couple of days ago, revving its engine in style and turning heads all around.

This particular BMW 1M Coupe has a Swiss license plate and has been fitted with a new body kit, which is mostly distinguishable at the rear end. On top of that, it also wears an impressive body wrap and some black wheels.

The car`s main highlight is the bespoke exhaust system at the rear which increases the car`s engine soundtrack; it might also increase its stock power and torque as well. However, we do not have any details concerning the new power. However, judging by the video below, we can estimate more than the stock power. We let you decide how much it is over the factory output!

As a reminder, the BMW 1M Coupe was produced between 2004 and 2013 replacing the 3-Series Compact and becoming the company`s “smallest and least expensive vehicle in the BMW range.”

It also came with four body styles, such as: 3-door hatchback (E81 model), 5-door hatchback (E87 model), 2-door coupe (E82 model) and 2-door convertible (E88 model). The 3- and 5-door hatchbacks were later on replaced by the F20 and F21 in 2012, while the E82 Coupe and E88 Convertible were replaced by the 2-Series F22 and F23, starting with 2013.

As for engine lineup, the BMW 1M Coupe came with both naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines, with four-cylinder diesel and four- and six-cylinder petrol configurations.

The below BMW 1M Coupe is equipped with the famous 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder engine, developing 335 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, enabling a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds, at a topping of 250 km/h.

The real proof that you can transform your BMW M135i into a real beast is the video below released by the engineers from BR-Performance and which highlights the engine soundtrack as a result of the tuner`s Stage 2 power kit.

At the exterior, there weren’t any significant modifications added to the car, except for some slight changes at the front and rear bumpers, adding new alloy wheels. As for the car`s engine, this one has received some new horses.

The Stage 2 kit comes with the BRP Pops&Bangs package which increases the engine`s sound, while the stage kit itself also modifies the power. Thanks to the new ECU remapping and new turbochargers, the M135i is now capable of delivering more.

The 3.0-liter straight six engine deliver 326 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque in the stock version, but thanks to the tuner`s new kit, the model is now outputting 400 horsepower and 540 Nm of torque, which brings it closer to the BMW M3 & M4.

Unfortunately, the tuner has not provided us with the dyno chart to see how well it performs from 0 to 100 km/h, and that because the guys over the shop are still fine-tuning the car`s new kit. Changes didn’t occur under the hood either, the model still enjoying the fine and “quiet” 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, with 321 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, which is just enough to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds. The power is sent to the rear axle via a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic.

It’s based on the E82 generation and it’s a hugely powerful car. G-Power started from the BMW 1 Series M Coupe, an already upgraded model. It’s the most solid version of the 1 Series, and it borrows both, front and rear axles from the top of the 3 Series range: M3.

So, it had everything it takes to become a ferocious supercar. It only needed a proper engine and a fast and solid gearbox, to handle the power. And that’s what G-Power does best: fit powerful powertrains under small hoods. They grabbed a 4 liter, V8, M3 engine, together with its DCT gearbox and squeezed it to fit into the engine bay.

However, this wasn’t enough for G-Power’s specialists. They added a supercharger system, to reach a sensational 600 hp and 580 Nm of torque at 5400 rpm. These numbers are big enough to set the standard in the segment: the first 100 km/h are reached in 4.4 seconds. The acceleration to 200 km/h lasts 12.7 seconds. Top speed of the car is over 330 km/h. This performance makes G-Power state loud: the G1 V8 Hurricane RS is the fastest BMW 1 Series ever made!

So, is it only a damn fast car? No. It’s also exclusive. The car’s interior is wrapped in the finest combination of leather and Alcantara and it’s even more exclusive than BMW Individual equipment. But let’s keep in mind that all this combination of power and luxury comes with a price. In this case, is 141.177 euro.

The BMW 220i received a special kit dubbed the “MC320” and consists of a complete makeover in terms of performance and visuals. If on the outside, the model was just fitted with a bunch of updates, like the new LV-1 19-inch alloys from MBDesign and the KW-coilover suspension, underneath there is a completely new story.

Everybody knows that the 220i comes standard with a 2.0-liter flat-four turbocharged engine, with 184 horsepower and 366 Nm of torque, but with the tuner`s special kit, the power has been significantly increased.

We are dealing here with some engine upgrades, like remapped ECU, new turbocharger, custom downpipes, a 200-cell-sport-catalytic and a much wider intercooler. This brings the model to a total of 255 horsepower and 542 Nm of torque.

However, there is also a second power kit available, also part of the “MC320”, which delivers 320 horsepower and 590 Nm of torque, at a topping of 260 mph. this one adds the a turbocharger upgrade and a downpipe with the same 200-CSPI-sport-catalytic.

We are dealing here with a heavily modified BMW 1-Series, which has received an upgraded M550d tri-turbo engine, found on the high-end M550d.

The 3.0-liter flat-six M550d engine is packing a good 400 horsepower and impressive 800 Nm of torque, which is enough to make it sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds. The sprint from 80 to 180 km/h is also done in 7.9 seconds.

The BMW 1-Series by Schnitzer is also equipped with a new aero kit, consisting of a custom front apron, roof-mounted rear spoiler, side mirror caps from carbon fiber and the 18- or the 20-inch alloy wheels, with the 235-mm and 300mm rubbers front and rear.

The new set of wheels go hand in hand with the new suspension lowering springs or custom exhaust tips, which make the little 1-Series more spectacular and more aggressive. The cabin has also received metallic accents, aluminum pedals, as well as new gear knob and floor mats.

I am sure that many dreamed of putting the E92 BMW M3 engine, the loved S65, into their cars, so why not a 1 Series.

To make things run smoothly, along with the 4.0 liter V8 engine also came the 6 speed manual transmission from the E92 BMW M3. I am sure that if the owner would have stopped at that, the BMW 1 Series would have been a very nice project, but once he started, he could not stop.

More mods came in the form of carbon fiber hood, roof and even a trunk lid, in order to reduce overall weight. A custom BPM tune was applied, while Dinan provided an intake. Various other piece also went into the built, like a custom X pipe and a Meisterschaft exhaust system. The end result is a fierce BMW 1 Series, and according to some opinions, another way the 1M could have easily gone.
