And there are plenty of famous tuners to deal with customizations at the exteriors, and others that are specialized in delivering the best packages under the hood. One of those tuners is no other than the German-based house G-Power.

G-Power is a famous aftermarket shop that has been creating powerful programs on different BMW products for so many years that we lost count of the exact number. Anyway, they recently added to other special models to their impressive portfolio.

It now includes to rides that haven’t received the best appreciation so far – the E46 330i from the 3-Series and the E85 Z4 Roadster, both receiving a power boost under the hood.

We are looking at the tuner`s SK Plus supercharger, available for just 3,867 euros, and which comes with some impressive customizations under the hood, including an ECU remapping.

For instance, the 330i`s 3.0-liter straight-six petrol burner is now churning out 306 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, which is quite impressive from the stock 231 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque.

The E85 Z4`s 2.5-liter naturally aspirated flat-four pot has also been tweaked to deliver more than the standard 189 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. Unfortunately, for this particular ride, we do not have the official numbers.

The aftermarket specialists from Rowen tuning have recently carried out a special aero kit, the model being also previewed in an exceptional photo session.

As we can depict from the photos below, the Rowen BMW Z4 packs revised front and rear bumpers, chunky side skirts, along with front and rear spoilers, updated diffuser and side skirts, while the back adds the standout Titan blue exhaust system.

The BMW Z4 by Rowen is also complemented by the new set of wheels, which adds a more elegant approach. What I particularly like about this car is that the mods are not too overrated and make it more appealing to the eye.

We are dealing here with one of the most outstanding and hot looking roadsters from the German carmaker, the Z4 being that perfect model that can be taken out for a spin on hot summer days. Add up some cool mods and you will have a killer.

The aftermarket specialists have first added the Arkym Carbon Fiber Aero kit, with custom front splitter, rear diffuser, trunk spoiler and more. The interior is also making use of track features, like the Sparco Ergo GRP Tec Racing seats with not-slip fabric and lower cushion for better grip.

From a mechanical point of view, the tuner have installed Macht Schnell Headers, Macht Schnell Air Intake, ESS Flash Tune, or Rogue Engineering Exhaust, which provide increase maneuverability and improved torque.

Under the hood, the BMW Z4 M Roadster is packing a tuned-up S54B32 engine, developing 333 horsepower. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is done in 4.8 seconds, at a topping of electronically limited of 250 km/h.

On the outside, Carlex Design offers a two-color body wrap, combining grey and silver colours, as well as new front and rear bumpers, a carbon fiber rear diffuser and new alloy wheels. In the back, there’s a quad-pipe exhaust system but really nothing more.

Even so, you don’t have to be afraid as there are some interior tweaks too.

The specialists at Carlex Design opted for black Alcantara upholstery, carbon fiber inserts, buffalo leather and much more. A sports steering wheel is also available while a pair of sports seats provide both comfort and stability.

Under the hood is a powerful V8 engine sourced from an older-gen BMW M3, but there are no further details in this regard. There are also little to no details about pricing and availability for the BMW Z4 by Carlex Design.

But that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty more tuners that deal in interiors beside them, and Carlex Design plans to prove just that.

If we are to judge by their latest kit regarding the E89 BMW Z4, even I would have to admit they have style, even if they are miles behind the Bulgarians. Still, the work they did on the Z4 is amazing. Also they even fitted some exterior parts, like a front splitter, rear diffuser and a new set of wheels.

But as I was saying, the real treat lies inside. They went with a very nice red and black theme, which still holds strong, even if a bit overused. Their materials of choice are perforated leather and black alcantara. Pretty much all the upholstery has either one or the other. As for the various other trims, Carlex Design deemed fit to bestow some carbon fiber upon the E89 BMW Z4.

This is apparent in the many tunes and custom projects that draw heavily from the likes of Spitfires or Mustangs.

Germany, while producing far superior machines during the same period, are not quite so proud and tend to not remember those days. While this is understandable, seeing this Focke-Wulf inspired BMW Z4 M makes me wish they would try to do projects like this.

While this is an full German BMW Z4 M and it draws inspiration from a full German fighter plane, the tuner that took this project on is actually Russian, and is called RTC. They not only adorned the car with the awesome paintjob, but they also installed Lambo doors, Brembo brakes and a new sound system.

The same can be said about the latest of their projects, which involves the E89 BMW Z4 roadster.

When the owner brought the Z4 into PSI’s shop, he had a lot of ideas in mind, and the guys delivered in a great way. Right away you can spot the nice Atacama Yellow paint job that goes well with the M Performance gloss black grilles and the M Sport front and rear bumper and the rear diffuser.

For a complete new body, a 3D Design front lip and Tekarbon mirror caps were added. Other visual alteration include the Volk Racing TE37 Formula Silver wheels and H&R lowering springs. On the performance side, PSI installed one COBB V3 ECU kit, Eisenmann exhaust, Evolution Racewerks intercooler and an AFE Stage 2 cold air intake. Enjoy.

Then again, that doesn’t mean those builds are not good builds, and neither is this one from Rowen.

This particular BMW Z4 is a very good example of a nice tune, even if it’s just aesthetic. Rowen decided to go with the standard new features like new front and rear bumpers, side skirts, new diffuser complete with new exhaust system and a lot of LED lights.

There are a lot of decals added to the car, also, and even some blue accents here and there on the car. Last, but not least, a new set of wheels were also added. The grand total cost for this kit is around $7000, which seems a good price for what it offers.

As you might have guessed, we are about to present to you one such video, featuring the Yokohoma store of the aftermarket specialist Studie AG.

I guess the name is not quite as wide spread as others such AC Schnitzer or 3D Design, but Studie AG is, in fact, one of the leading tuning companies in Japan. The video tour takes us through the shop itself, while also covering the pit are and the car lot.

A recent product involves the E89 BMW Z4, for which they built a wide body kit that seems to integrate with the Z4 seamlessly.

The wide body kit has all the makings for a great build. New panels all around, with a special attention to the wheel arches, which have been widened to accommodate those 20 inch wheels we love so much. Then the vented hood adds some more Duke Dynamics style to the E89 BMW Z4.

As optional features you get the choice of a front spoiler lip, a rear carbon fiber diffuser and a quad carbon fiber exhaust tips. The clean build makes this particular project one worthy or appreciation, and with a nice set of custom wheels can make the E89 BMW Z4 as complete as any other build.
