Speaking of the X range, there is one particular model that the German tuning firm has not managed to work its magic on, and that is the brand-new 2019 X4 in its second-generation (G02). And that because the model hit world premiere in February.

As we can depict from the media gallery below, the all-new 2019 BMW X4 is extremely appealing with the new design language, so adding just a handful of new pieces wouldn`t spoil its gorgeous factory looks; and we all know that AC Schnitzer can really break the boundaries with their outrageous and sometimes out of the ordinary body kits.

So, here we have a light aero treatment, increased handling characteristics and some minor adjustments inside the cabin. To start with the exterior, we should be able to notice the new two-part front spoiler lip underneath the bumper, while the rear received a fascia insert with new tailpipes and sport catalysts. Also, the tailpipes are connected to downpipes, all increasing the car`s stance and looks.

To give it a more aggressive look, the engineers from AC Schnitzer have also replaced the factory wheels with custom ones. For that part, customers can choose between 19- and 20-inch sizes for the brand-new AC1 alloy wheels available in anthracite or bi-color finish. Along with the new wheels come the new suspension system which reduces the car`s height up to 25 millimeters. And lowering it to the ground means better stability on the streets, especially while cruising at high-speeds, or tackling tight corners.

Inside, the cabin has been refined for a sportier look, receiving a handful of aluminum tweaks, sport pedals, or special key holders. As for technology, it includes the company`s latest i-drive system touch controller and much more.

No special power programs have been announced for the new X4 yet. This means that the 2019 BMW X4 in its second-generation, retains the same engine lineup. There are no less than three petrol burners and three diesel burners, with power between 184 HP – 360 HP. There is also the top of the line X4 M40i and X4 M40d, in both petrol and diesel disguises, with greater power and enhanced with advanced systems such as Performance Control, Adaptive M suspensions, Variable Sport Steering or M Sport differential and M Sport brakes.

Dahler is commonly known for its programs on plenty of models from German manufacturers like Audi, Mercedes-Benz or Porsche, yet it recently turned its attention towards BMW customizations. Well, not quite recently…as for the past five years or so.

Visually, the striking thing that I have first noticed was the new set of wheels. It involves much larger wheels, sized 9 x 21-inch and 10.5 x 21-inch front and rear, respectively. The wheels go swell with the bespoke sport suspension system with shock absorbers, which lowers the SUVs ride height and provide greater stance and increased grip. The shock absorbers also make it “make it sporty but never hard.”

Announcing a power increase and a wilder engine roar is the in-house built Dahler stainless steel exhaust system with no less than four tailpipes. It also enhances the SUV`s impressive stance and aggressive look.

Performance wise, the stock BMW X4 M40i is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine, developing 350 PS and 500 Nm of torque. However, with the tuner`s ECU remapping and new turbos, the M40i is now capable to churn out 420 PS and 630 Nm of torque, resulting an increase of 60 PS and 130 Nm of torque.

There is also good news for those owning the top of the line X4 M40d, the tuner also offering a tuning offer. The same stock engine puts it to 326 PS and 680 Nm of torque. Now, with the new power upgrade, the topper got no less than 380 PS and 780 Nm of torque, which is quite impressive. We would have loved hearing about the performance figures it the straight line, but for the moment, the tuner chose not to reveal that for the moment. Hopefully we get updates pretty soon!

BMW X4 lineup is standing out from the crowd with the top of the line M40i, an impressive ride with impressive capabilities, but the SUV recently received the visit of German tuner Dahler, meaning that it has gained some significant extra power.

Dahler is well-known for its power kits all fitted on different BMW products. This lad here can be had with stage 2 power kit, with two power configurations, 395 horsepower and 414 horsepower, respectively.

But in case you can`t settle with this stage, then you can also opt for stage 3 power kit, which raises the SUV`s power to 424 horsepower, meaning a top speed of 270 km/h and a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

All these modifications were possible thanks to the ECU remapping and stainless steel exhaust system. Besides the new power kits, the M40i has also received a new aero kit.

We are looking here at a new spoiler lip and rear apron with integrated tailpipes, 20- or 21-inch alloy wheels and the aforementioned stainless steel exhaust system. The new mechanical bits also refer to custom-built coil-over suspension, high-performance brakes, lowering springs which lower the car by up to 18mm, compression adjustable dampers and so on.

We already wrote about it a few months ago, but now, the germans made public the prices for all the components and other information about its performance. There are also new pictures available, and you can find them at the end of this article.

This is a truly remarkable car. It’s one of the most good-sense designs I’ve ever seen. The color is just great: not flashy, yet not common. And, if the owner wants to go back to the initial paintwork, he can do it easily, as the foil’s adhesive is completely inoffensive.

The front lip is made of carbon fiber and costs 849 €. Its original design adds an interesting note to the front, giving it a touch of aggressiveness. The rear trunk spoiler, also made of carbon fiber, is equally elegant and sporty, being perfectly integrated in the design line. The front and rear bumpers and also the mirror caps have carbon fiber elements, looking cool and keeping the weight at a low level.

This beauty stands on a set of 21 inch wheels made by Hartge. The visual impact is even bigger, if you consider the all-new springs, which lowers the ground clearance by 30 mm, for 369 €. Their hi-tech design is detailed and their black color looks very natural, especially combined with the X4’s exterior color.

Let’s talk a bit about its performance, which has been upgraded, by installing a Lightweight ECU, which also removes the maximum speed cancellation. Its cost is around 2600 €, and it has been paired with a 89 € air filter, produced by the same tuner. The result is 365 hp and 690 Nm, but extra 10 hp and 70 Nm can be added via a Stage 2 kit (3699 €), to reach a top speed of 280 km/h. The exhaust system, with 4 end-tips contributes at these insane values, but costs 1800 €.

Onboard, the black Alcantara (1299 €), in combination with the aluminum pedals (189 €) and the small display added by Lightweight (899 €), make the trips sportier and more comfortable. If you like what you see, you can buy it for 88.000 €. Or, if you already own an X4, you can choose which elements to buy, because they can be sold separately.

This means that the xDrive20i and the 20d petrol versions can receive a power kit delivering 208 horsepower and 184 Nm of torque, from the stock 184 horsepower. The diesel can also be upgraded to 231 horsepower and 464 Nm of torque, from the standard 190 horsepower.

Should you own the line xDrive28i or the 30d, then you can purchase the tuner`s second power kit, with a power boost of 313 horsepower and 675 Nm of torque, while the xDrive35i and 35d variants can be had with a maximum of 348 horsepower and 381 horsepower, respectively.

Apart the impressive power stages fitted on the aforementioned X4 versions, the tuner can also add its special body kit, mainly consisting of a more prominent front spoiler, custom rear spoiler and rear diffuser, along with standout rear wing and brand-new aftermarket rims.

The rear end is also highlighted by the black headlights surrounds, darkened grille as well as the special quad-exhaust system which provide the X4 SAC with a wilder engine roar.

Now the aftermarket specialist come out with plenty more pictures and some serious information.

The biggest improvement was the engine power bump, which now is capable of delivering some 375 PS and 740 Nm of torque, up from 313 PS and 630 Nm. Decent numbers, but so far, we don’t know how this translates into top speed and acceleration time.

The BMW X4 xDrive35d was also lowered with a new set of springs, a move pretty much standard for this kind of tune. Other than that, we get new wheels which measure 21 inches in diameter. Similar kits were made available by Manhart for the xDrive20i, xDrive28i and xDrive35i versions of the BMW X4.

Manhart is one of them, and they already managed to set up a pretty decent legacy.

Mostly they deal in improving performance of Bimmers, and the latest to join their already vast portfolio is the new BMW X4. Manhart chose the range topping xDrive35d version, as this is the one they wanted to push beyond the limit. Considering they managed to up it to 375 HP and 740 Nm of torque, I’d say they did a good job.

The extra oomph comes thanks to Manhart’s Stage 1 kit they fitted under the hood. In order to control the extra power better, they also installed lowering springs and a new set of wheels. Now all we need to wait for is for Manhart to put this baby through its paces and deliver some acceleration times and new top speed.
