Speaking of the X range, there is one particular model that the German tuning firm has not managed to work its magic on, and that is the brand-new 2019 X4 in its second-generation (G02). And that because the model hit world premiere in February.

As we can depict from the media gallery below, the all-new 2019 BMW X4 is extremely appealing with the new design language, so adding just a handful of new pieces wouldn`t spoil its gorgeous factory looks; and we all know that AC Schnitzer can really break the boundaries with their outrageous and sometimes out of the ordinary body kits.

So, here we have a light aero treatment, increased handling characteristics and some minor adjustments inside the cabin. To start with the exterior, we should be able to notice the new two-part front spoiler lip underneath the bumper, while the rear received a fascia insert with new tailpipes and sport catalysts. Also, the tailpipes are connected to downpipes, all increasing the car`s stance and looks.

To give it a more aggressive look, the engineers from AC Schnitzer have also replaced the factory wheels with custom ones. For that part, customers can choose between 19- and 20-inch sizes for the brand-new AC1 alloy wheels available in anthracite or bi-color finish. Along with the new wheels come the new suspension system which reduces the car`s height up to 25 millimeters. And lowering it to the ground means better stability on the streets, especially while cruising at high-speeds, or tackling tight corners.

Inside, the cabin has been refined for a sportier look, receiving a handful of aluminum tweaks, sport pedals, or special key holders. As for technology, it includes the company`s latest i-drive system touch controller and much more.

No special power programs have been announced for the new X4 yet. This means that the 2019 BMW X4 in its second-generation, retains the same engine lineup. There are no less than three petrol burners and three diesel burners, with power between 184 HP – 360 HP. There is also the top of the line X4 M40i and X4 M40d, in both petrol and diesel disguises, with greater power and enhanced with advanced systems such as Performance Control, Adaptive M suspensions, Variable Sport Steering or M Sport differential and M Sport brakes.

Everything is possible today, especially in the tuning segment, with plenty of aftermarket shops that offer customized services depending on the model in question. For BMW especially, AC Schnitzer from Germany has become a dedicated tuner, willing to satisfy your wildest dreams.

For the BMW M5 Competition, the technicians from AC Schnitzer are also throwing in some amazing customizations. One particular model has popped up at BMW Abu Dhabi Motors with a custom aero kit and new power under the hood.

For the model in question, AC Schnitzer have added a spectacular body wrap, along with the amazing body kit made from carbon fiber. This makes the M5 Competition more radical in terms of design.

The body kit comes with bespoke front splitter, carbon fiber front spoiler, carbon fiber ‘Racing’ rear wing, rear diffuser, carbon fiber side skirts, rear rood spoiler, high-gloss black accents on the grille, mirror caps and rear bumper, as well as the “Competition” badge. The mods also continue inside, with plenty of new features to separate it from the standard M5 Competition.

The power of this M5 Competition has also been modified. In standard form, the sports car comes with 617 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque. However, with the tuner`s ECU remapping and a couple of more mechanical enhancements, this lad here is now capable of churning out no less than 690 horsepower and staggering 850 Nm of torque.

With the factory sprint from standstill to 100 km/h performed in 3.3 seconds, with the new power kit, the BMW M5 Competition by AC Schnitzer is now able to perform the same distance in around 3.0 seconds, which is mind-blowing.

Almost all models and variants from BMW have been customized by AC Schnitzer and the company`s new “kid on the block” – the BMW i8 Roadster – couldn’t have gotten away with it. Below is the tuner`s new extensive program carried out on the freshly rolled out i8 Roadster, which kinda resembles with the Coupe model that they brought to Geneva, in March.

Even though the new convertible from BMW looks mind-blowing in stock form, the tuner`s full body treatment provides a more aggressive attitude, a kind of a space ship on modified four wheels as well. Every panel and every component has been customized to make it look the way it should have been in the first place.

From where I stand, the car`s first striking change is the new set of wheels. They refer to the tuner`s most prolific, the AC1 lightweight forged bi-color wheels, sizing 21 inches front and rear, providing a decrease in weight, which is around 4,4 kg.

The wheels go hand-in-hand with the new custom lowering spring kit, which brings the car closer to the ground with around 20 to 25 mm, front and rear.

As for the exterior, the car now features a carbon fiber package with plenty of stand-out elements. We are looking here are the famous AC Schnitzer front grille and 160 mm emblems on the sides, along with the new front spoiler tweaks, middle front spoiler, mirror covers, front side wings or front and rear air outlets. There is also the ‘Racing’ rear wing for more downforce or the door handle panels.

The interior also gets some new elements, which are in contrast with the exterior. There is aluminum covering the pedals, iDrive cover or the footrest, while the floor mats are velour.

As for performance under the hood, the BMW i8 Roadster by AC Schnitzer remains stock. This means a three-cylinder turbocharged engine plus an electric motor, which delivers a total of 369 horsepower. It also manages an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds, meaning a 0.2 second difference compared with the i8 Coupe. The new battery also allows for an average consumption of 70 eMPG.

The latest model to arrive in Abu Dhabi is another 5-Series garnished with M Performance Parts and wearing AC Schnitzer`s signature on the body style and inside the cabin. Among the most renowned tuning firms which are dedicated to BMW modifications, AC Schnitzer is the one sending plenty of new programs to Abu Dhabi.

The model in question is the hardcore variant from the 5-Series – the M550i – and which closely sits to the most powerful model within the lineup – the almighty M5 – receiving new aero body features with carbon fiber treatment. There are also the new wheels.

Unfortunately, the tuner`s program does not include any modifications under the hood. This means that it`s still come with the same 4.4-liter bi-turbo V8 engine, along with 456 horsepower. This allows the model to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in a good 3.9 seconds.

The aero kit features carbon fiber front lip and rear diffuser, both enhancing the car`s aggressive look and bringing it a bit closer to the M5. The new look is also highlighted by the 20-inch AC Schnitzer alloy wheels which work in tandem with the new adaptive M Suspension system. That means that the car`s ride height has been lowered by 25-30mm up front and 20-inch mm at the rear. And as we can depict from the media gallery below, the model now looks extremely aggressive and more appealing.

As for interior highlights, don’t expect too many new features; there is of course new infotainment system for the rear seats with plenty of high-tech gadgetries, along with black accents on certain surfaces, as well as white accents with wood trim which provide increased high-class feel.

While some tuners choose to mess-up with the M4`s performance under the hood, others decide to go for some enhanced visuals. It is also the case of the below Alpine White F82 BMW M4 which has received a nice treatment which comprises new wheels and a carbon fiber aero package.

The first striking thing we should observe at a modified car is the wheels, and for this model in question, the owner choose to wrap it with the high-performance wheels from Vossen tuner. It involves the Vossen Hybrid Forged VFS-5 rims which measure 20 x 8.5 and 20 x 10.5 front and rear, respectively. Wrapped in Gloss Gunmetal finish, they look impressive in Michelin Pilot Sport + tires.

As for the carbon fiber aero package, the Alpine White F82 BMW M4 is fitted with new elements that enhance the car`s aggressive looks. All courtesy of another famous German tuner which is AC Schnitzer, also a dedicated BMW aftermarket shop. We are looking here at a front lip spoiler, rear decklid spoiler and rear diffuser.

Sadly, there are no words of any updates under the hood. We might have been looking here at the perfect package. This means the same 3.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo flat-six, also seen on its little sibling the M3 Sedan. The engine outputs 431 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque, sending the power to the rear via a six-speed manual. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h is also done in 4.1 seconds, but when hooked with the seven-speed M-DCT transmission, the model runs the same sprint in just 3.9 seconds. The topping is electronically limited at 250 km/h.

The tuner`s latest creation is the all-new 2018 5-Series, in both the sedan and the estate variants, the model receiving an exclusive body kit and some extra power under the hood. The tuner`s fine-work is also highlighted in the video below.

As we can see in the video, the car`s look has been enhanced by carbon fiber components around the front and rear spoilers, adding as well new side skirts and rear diffuser insert.

The specialists have also created components that separate the models. The sedan for instance, is available with a special rear roof spoiler and rear spoiler, as well as a carbon racing rear wing, while the estate can also be had with a custom rear roof wing which reduces drag and increases downforce. Both variants are also fitted with AC lightweight wheels.

As for the performance under the hood, the technicians from AC Schnitzer have also added some new tweaks that increase the power. We are looking here at the tuner`s ECU remapping with sound module with remote control, which increases the power of the 540i from 340 horsepower to 400 horsepower. On the other hand, the 530d is capable of 315 horsepower, quite nice from the stock 265 horsepower. All other variants (M550i, 530i or 520d) come with similar output as the latter presented.
