The car looks amazing, drives amazing, feels amazing. This is the result of carful planning, skilled workers and quality parts. With such a mix in question, this particular BMW X6 was destined to be a successful build right from the start.

The added body kit, the stunning vinyl wrap and the stylish rims make the BMW X6 look like a new version of the same model. The added visual upgrades haven’t radically changed the car’s personality. In fact, the improvements seem to bring out more of the already existing design particularities. The BMWX6 M50d is a bulky, beasty ride. Fostla and Hamann seem to have changed that slightly. Visually speaking the vehicle looks less mean and more stylish.

Now, the same high-end model can be admired wearing the Noble Gray Metallic exterior color and the impressive Prior Design body styling kit, with the entire installation being carried out by the technicians from German-based tuner Fostla.

Even if the entire kit doesn’t come cheap, this owner here paying around 40,000 euro, it is definitely worth the money and the trouble.

You get a standout model with a sporty body kit, consisting of exquisite parts like new front and rear bumpers, fender extensions, side sills, side skirts, adding the custom front spoiler, boot lid wing and rear diffuser.

As we can depict from the pictures, this BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe also comes with the Eibach lowering springs, which lowers the car`s ride height by 25 mm and 20 mm front and rear, providing it with a greater stance and improved maneuverability. The aero kit is complemented by the Prior Design alloys, with 245/30-20 and 295/30-20 front and rear tires.

In the engine department, the stock 6-Series Gran Coupe 650i comes with a 4.4-liter V8 engine, developing a good 450 horsepower. However, with the tuner`s new power kit, this lad here is capable of an impressive 570 horsepower, all thanks to the ECU remapping or the Suprsprint sport exhaust system.

Unfortunately, the fostla.de tuner did nothing to improve its technical specifications. However, they changed its looks. First, they took a body kit made by Carbonfiber Dynamics, to add a little drama. It contains a sharp front lip, some air diffusers to cool the engine bay, wider side skirts and a rear wing, to keep the car bond to the asphalt.

Then, they wrapped al the package in a shiny, chromed foil. I wonder what color is specified in the car registration… However, it’s not all-shiny. It has matte-black side stripes and a whole black engine hood.

All the transparent surfaces are tinted: the windows, the front and the rear lights. This adds an even scarier image to the supercar. On the radiator grille – the M scheme brings a drop of color in the black-and-chrome ocean.

As we said from the beginning – the technical side of the car remained absolutely unchanged. Therefore, you might think all these changes are pretty cheap. No, they’re not: the whole package costs about €14.000, or $15.700. And you’ll still have 420 hp from the natural aspirated V8, and not a pony more.

The look-pack won’t help you either with the 4.4 seconds acceleration to 100 km/h, but it can give you that extra style that makes the difference.

The first upgradable targets were the engine, improved with updated electronics and of course the exhaust system, adding ¼ of the original power to the model at hand.

The BMW 550i gains in this way about 170 horses and that for a price under the threshold of $6.000, which is not too shabby when looking at it from the buyer’s perspective.

The exterior has been upgraded as well with a predictable M Sport package. The car has been painted in a Taupe matte shade with tinted lights and gloss black trims to go along with the car’s overall sporty vibe. The BMW 550i was also fitted with 20” Yido YP1 Talia rims wrapped in Michelin Pilot low profile tires all spaced out with sleek 5mm spacers.

No tuning project could be complete without proper car lowering. The BMW 550i has been swiftly lowered on new sport suspensions making it look aggressive and also giving it a nice aero feel and contributing to another substantial performance gain altogether.

But just because they don’t have such a strong portfolio when it comes to modifying Bimmers, it doesn’t mean they don’t know what they’re doing.

In fact, there is one E70 BMW X5 build from Fostla that aims to prove just that. From a performance point of view, things are the most interesting, as the tuner managed to up the power to 650 Hp and 900 Nm of torque. This was done using a PP-Performance stage 2 kit and a new exhaust system from Akrapovic.

On the outside, things are also looking rather well. Fostla opted for a Frozen red paint job, greatly complemented by the smoked head and rear lights. New 21 inch wheels were also installed, but instead of outsourcing, Fostla just chose some for BMW, and I can’t say they were wrong to do so.

Here to prove my point is this great wrap job done on a BMW M6 Convertible which looks absolutely awesome.

This wrap was done by the guys from Fostla.de, and it is premium craftsmanship besides the great taste with which it was executed. And this is not the same foil used ages ago. Fostla.de uses high grade material, capable of withstanding scratches and thrown rock chips or pebbles.

More and more, the wraps are gaining momentum, becoming a favorite choice when it comes to color change. It is cheaper and easier to apply than paint and should you change your mind, simply peel it off and replace it. The BMW M6 sporting this fine wrap also has some other upgrades, in the form of custom new wheels, a new Eisenmann exhaust system, H&R lowering springs and various other knick knacks.

At the exterior, the BMW M6 Convertible gets a special matte yellow wrap, revised carbon fiber hood, side mirrors and front spoiler lip. New 22-inch alloy wheels are available as well as tinted optical blocks.

Under the hood sits a 5.0-liter V10 engine producing 537 horses and 545 Nm of torque. The extra 30 horsepower and 25 Nm of torque help the model to achieve a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4,3 seconds with a top speed of 300 km/h.

“Not by chance have vehicle wraps still an upward trend. The possibilities for a truly personal customization – as opposed to a conventional paint – are manifold higher,” says the company.

The power boost for the BMW M6 Convertible is priced at €2,190.
