The redesign has includes everything from new bumpers,aggressive new hood model, spoiler to huge wheel arches that altogether contribute to the vehicle’s rebirth in regards to the design and the statement it makes when seen.

A carbon rear diffuser has also been integrated in the design as well with a sleek exhaust system that seems to complement the whole rear are of the F16 BMW X6 xDrive50i.

No tuning setup would have been complete without a set of huge rims and low profile racing tires. The overall cohesive look of the BMW X6 xDrive50i is also a result of the fitted suspension that has lowered the vehicle enough to make a difference in aerodynamics as well as in looks. The car has been presented so far in two color variants, white and yellow.

The BMW X6 xDrive50i has also been reformed under the hood, with an upgraded setup that boosts 590HP, about 850 Nm of torque from the original 450HP and 650Nm torque. At the exterior, buyers will get new front and rear bumpers, a revised front grille, side skirts, a revised hood, new side mirrors and rear spoiler. Most of the parts are made of carbon fiber so the weight will be as low as possible.

The German car is fitted with 22-inch alloy wheels shod in 295/30 22 (front) and 335/25 22 (rear) tires from Vredestein.

Under the hood, the 4.4-liter V8 powering the BMW X6 xDrive 50i gets a boost from 450hp and 650 Nm of torque to a total of 590hp and 850 Nm of torque.

The i3, while having a head start on the sportier hybrid, didn’t go over so great with the tuners.

It’s to be expected, as the smaller city car is just that, a small city car. While it does look a lot better than most other boxy competitors, it’s still quite ugly for a Bimmer, and so it was mostly ignored by tuners. Lumma Design seems to be a bit more fair for the two green models from BMW.

Recently they published a couple of renderings portraying what they have in mind to change on both the vehicles. The i8 wears matte black custom wheels, and a new front spoiler and side skirts were added. The smaller i3 displays the same level of alteration, with a set of 22 inch wheels and new front spoiler lip and side skirts. Whether this will make it on the kit Lumma Design is prepping remains to be seen.

With so much verve about the Frankfurt Motor Show, Lumma Design might have chosen a bad time to present their product, but everyone interested didn’t miss it.

The pack offered by the aftermarket specialists contains a wide body kit with a new front spoiler, bigger air intakes, wider wheel arches and at the rear, a diffuser and a smaller wing. Notably, the body kit can be installed on the 640i, 650i and 640d variants in addition to the M6 versions. The hood was replaced by a carbon fiber one and within the wider wheel arches, Lumma Design fitted new custom wheels, 21 inch wide.

Under the hood things look just as good, with the BMW M6 getting a three stage power tune. The first one will get your BMW M6’s up to 630 Hp, while the second will manage 640 Hp and the third 660 Hp. To put thing into perspective, the standard 4.4 liter V8 on the M6 develops 560 Hp. The numbers make for a top speed of 310 km/h

The owner of this BMW X5 seems to have achieved it. He installed a CLR X530 body kit from Lumma Design and then painted it over with a very lush lime green. To top it off, some custom wheels have also been added, and while the picture do not reveal it, the interior must also be redone.

In anticipation to the imminent release of the X5, the guys from Lumma Design even went so far to preview their plans for the 2014 model.

And changes are abundant, even if we only have the general idea on the aesthetics, with performance numbers yet to come. Set to launch their project in March, Lumma Design went a bit overboard with the styling.

A wide body kit will be fitted to it, consisting of a new, more aggressive front fascia with more of the same on the sides and the back. The wheel arches are extended to make room for 23 inch alloy wheels. Lumma also fitted a ventialted hood and the front and a trunk spoiler at the back.

The interior is also previewed in the pictures released by the tuner. Lumma Design plan carbon fiber trims, premium leather upholstery and their very own mats. While the tune is quite well held together, it does feel that Lumma Design went a bit mad with the preview. We’ll see if the real thing will be the same.

But maybe more will be attracted to the 1-Series once they see what the guys from Lumma Design built for it. It does spruce things up.

First off, for just 249 euro, you can improve the front of the BMW 1-Series by the addition of a front spoiler lip. You can order it painted any color you desire and installing it isn’t a big deal.

Forking out 269 euros more will set your ride closer to the ground by 35mm, thanks to a set of lowering springs. The side stripes, coming in a variety of colors will set you back 179 euros. The interior of the BMW F20 also has some nice touches like aluminum pedals and custom mats, costing you 220 and 179 euro respectively.

The crown jewel of the kit from Lumma Design is the 18 inch anthracite polished wheels that will be available for 1.700 euro. All in all, it is a good improvement over the not-so-loved BMW 1-Series.

While the german tuners from Lumma Design agree it is indeed powerful enough, they still had something to say about the looks. And their BMW CLR 6M package sais it all.

The front presents a new bumper with big air intakes, a carbon fiber hood with venting slots that provide both reduced weight and a new look. Going around to the back, we find an optimized diffuser and an exhaust system made of stainless steel and displaying 4 tail pipes each 10cm wide.

BMW CLR 6M has wheel arch extensions to fit the 21 inch sport rims and slim tires. The interior has a sporty feel to it, without losing much style. It uses top notch materials like carbon fiber, leather and alcantara.

With the official unveiling at the Geneva Auto Show, I think Lumma Design’s BMW CLR 6M really highlights the sporting pedigree of the german car maker.

LUMMA relied heavily on weight reduction mainly due to its carbon hood. That hood is composed of full carbon and some air intakes that help ventilate the engine and also all below it.

BMW CLR 6 M comes with 325/25/21 rear wheels and 275/30/21 front wheels, all with 21 inch rims Lumma.

Also on the aerodynamics, besides hood which was designed specifically for this purpose there is the rear difuser added to the rear bumper along with 4 tail pipes which are inox made.

After all, turbos, single or twin are certainly annoying when it comes to smooth delivery or noisy hooning about, especially in tuner cars.

Today we’re going to remember a tweaked M5 that had been breathed on by a small company called Lumma Design.

The German tuner rebranded it as something called the CLR 500 RS. RS comes from rally sport but we’re fairly sure nobody will be taking this car through the gravel.

Still, the motorsport components do come in handy. The 5.0 liter V10 engine gets a racing exhaust system with a custom catalytic converter and an ECU remap.

Therefore, the enormous engine now develops 560 horsepower. The torque figure is still a little thin compared to the outputs of today’s turbocharged monster.

The 40 mm lowering of the suspension, the 21 inch alloy wheels and the new sports tires are meant to help the handling features and it seems that they do work.

In terms of exterior looks, the body got a new aero package, there’s more downforce, improved cooling and a few carbon fiber bits that look a bit silly but that’s not the most worrying part of the equation.

Orange paint is an issue, even with black wheels and accents that’s not the sort of look you want to have on your daily driver.

Lumma Design have also made a red one but that doesn’t really help the effect either. Oh and don’t even get me started on the interior.
